Overview:

The Goods and Services Tax Appellate Tribunal (GSTAT) is the Appellate Authority established under the Central Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (“CGST Act”) to hear appeals arising out of orders passed by decisions of the Appellate and Revisional authorities under the said Act and the Jammu and Kashmir Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017.

One bench of GSTAT has been constituted by S.O. No 4073(E) dated 14.09.2023 in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. The UT Government seeks to fill the position of Technical Member (State/UT) through a Search-cum-Selection Committee constituted in terms of clause (a) of sub-section (4) of section 110 of the CGST Act.
