The Office of the Principal District and Sessions Judge, Kupwara, has released a notification inviting offline applications from eligible candidates belonging exclusively to District Kupwara for fulfilling the positions of Process Server and Sweeper/Safiawala on a District Cadre basis.

A. Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidates must be domicile of the UT of Jammu and Kashmir as per S.O 166 dated 18-05-2020 of the General Administration Department and specifically domicile of District Kupwara.
• Educational qualifications required are as follows:
• Sweeper/Safiawala: Matriculate (10th pass) from a recognized Board of School Education.
• Process Server: (10+2) qualification from a recognized institution.

• Total Posts Available: 02
• Open Merit Positions:
  • Sweeper/Safiawala: 1
  • Process Server: 1

C. Application Process:

• Commencement of offline application submission: 21-05-2024
• Last date for offline application submission: 04-06-2024

D. Application Fee:

• Applicants are required to pay an application fee of Rs 300/- through a Demand Draft from J&K Bank Ltd. in favor of Principal District and Sessions Judge, Kupwara.

E. Selection Process:

• Candidates must undergo a written test covering General Knowledge, English Comprehension, and Urdu.
• Shortlisting for interviews will be based solely on merit obtained in the written test, following the prescribed government ratio.

F. Instructions for In-Service Candidates:

• In-service applicants should route their applications through the proper channel.

G. Publicity:

• Wide publicity through print and electronic media, along with the official website of District Court Complex Kupwara, will inform eligible candidates about further details such as venue, dates of the written test, and interviews.
