The Jammu & Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (J&K BOPEE) has officially released the Provisional Merit List for candidates seeking admission to B.Pharma and D.Pharma courses for the year 2024. This follows the successful conduct of the Common Entrance Test (CET) in both Srinagar and Jammu on May 19, 2024.
After considering all the notifications and notices related to the conduct of the CET, including Notification No. 015-BOPEE of 2024 and Notice Nos. 004-BOPEE and 006-BOPEE of 2024, the board has not received any objections to the answer key, thereby allowing results to be prepared and declared.
Merit List and Tie-Breaking Criteria
The Provisional Merit List is available as Annexure-A to the notification. For candidates with equal scores, the board will resolve ties following the Inter-se-Merit rules defined on Page No. 39 Point No.12 of the e-Information Brochure, which can also be accessed on the J&K BOPEE official website.
Objections and Re-Totaling Procedure
Candidates who might have objections regarding their results are entitled to submit written representations along with a fee of Rs.1000 through the POS Machine at BOPEE offices in Srinagar or Jammu. The deadline for submitting objections is up to three days following the announcement, with no representations accepted beyond this window.
Corrections and Updates
Further instructions are provided for candidates needing corrections in their particulars, such as name, parentage, date of birth, category certificate, preference of streams, or gender. They must represent physically at the BOPEE offices within seven days from the notification issuance for any required amendments.
Category Changes and New Reservation Policy
Following the issuance of new reservation policy S.O 176, candidates wishing to update their category in accordance with the amended rules must submit their new certificates physically at the BOPEE offices within the seven-day time frame. Failure to do so will result in ineligibility to claim any seats under the categories not available in the new S.O 176.
Counseling Schedule
The schedule for the counseling and seat allotment process will be updated on the official J&K BOPEE website. Candidates should visit the site regularly for the latest updates.
