The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has released an important notice regarding the rescheduling of the Skill Test (Type Test) Examination. Originally set for the 30th of April, 2024, for Kashmir-based candidates, the examination has been postponed due to unforeseen circumstances.
The new date for the Skill Test is now confirmed to be the 5th of June, 2024. The venue remains unchanged at NIELIT Srinagar. Candidates who were supposed to appear for the test on the initial date can use their already issued Admit Cards for the new date. It’s crucial to note that these Admit Cards will be considered valid and there’s no need for a replacement.
The JKSSB emphasizes that there will not be any further opportunity given to candidates who do not attend the Type Test on the newly scheduled date of 05.06.2024. As for the candidates based in Jammu, the Skill Test will proceed as per the original schedule without any alterations.
The rescheduling notice was formally issued under the reference No. JKSSB-COEOEXAM(UT)/59/2023-04 (7257759) on May 24, 2024, and signed by Reyaz Ahmad Malik, JKAS, Controller of Examinations, J&K Services Selection Board.
The board requests that candidates take note of this important update and make necessary arrangements to appear for the Skill Test on the new date. Failure to attend the test on 05.06.2024 will result in the forfeiture of the chance to undertake the Type Test, as there will be no further rescheduling.
