The Foundation for Academic Excellence and Access (FAEA) is pleased to announce that applications for scholarships are now open for the academic year 2024-25. These scholarships are generously sponsored by TATA’s and other donors, aiming to support students in pursuing undergraduate programs across various streams including Arts, Commerce, Science, Engineering, and other technical and professional disciplines at recognized universities, institutions, and colleges in India.
Eligibility Criteria
The scholarships are designed to assist students from socially and economically disadvantaged backgrounds. To qualify, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Students must have completed Class XII from a recognized Board of Secondary Education in India or be currently enrolled as first-year undergraduate students.
- Applicants should belong to socially and economically disadvantaged sections, specifically SC/ST/OBC/BPL categories.
Additionally, the FAEA offers financial grants on a ‘need cum merit’ basis for General Category students who have achieved above 90% marks in their Higher Secondary Examination and/or have secured admission to premier institutions of excellence within the country.
Scholarship Benefits
FAEA has made provision for 50 scholarships this year. The financial support includes tuition fees and assistance with maintenance allowance or hostel and mess charges, all adherent to the FAEA norms.
